I am Christina Bjerstedt-Ohlsson
and I live with my husband Nils-Erik and our sons Philip and Oscar on the farm Hagedal outside Önnestad approx. 12 km west of
Kristianstad in Northern Scania.
Our daughter Linnéa lives in Önnestad with her boyfriend Johan, but spends quite
a lot of time at home anyway.
We share the interest for the dogs and also watch a lot of football games when the boys are playing.

My husband runs a farm with
dairy cows, growing sugarbeets etc.
My interest in horses since I was i little girl gives that I have the New Forest pony Mr. Magoo
in the stable. Since my riding accident last summer my other horse "home bred" Biggareau-K
(Kelly) sired by Biggles (Briar's
crown prince) is stationed at another stable, and she is ridden by a friend of
mine with higher ambitions than I have.
The boys have sports as their great intrest. Both plays football in the local team Önnestads BI.
The Kennel was certified by FCI in 1985 when also our first litter was born.
My first Samoyed came to me in 1979 after a couple of years of waiting. She, because it was a bitch was namned Darvas White Laijka and became a Swedish CH. Unfortunaltely she got a tumour in her stomach that burst and she died just before 3 years of age..
After that I imported a bitch from England, CH. Golway Mary Rose who became my foundation bitch.

I have done a lot of different things with my dogs apart from dog shows. Tracking, agility etc. But nowadays it is mostly sledding in the winter time and wheel-charting during the rest of the year.
I try to do at least one competition on snow every year.
All my dogs, except from Kitty have
all passed the
Samoyed Clubs official working test.
