Yesterday the second boy left for his new home. It was Swedsam's Fabianski who moved to the Delblanc' family in Bjärred. I wish you all the best with your new family member, "son" no 4!
on Sunday Sw. Final Countdown will move to Clas & Lina. Clas used to have Swedsam's Orinoco Flow and I'm confident that this little puppy will have as active live as "Nallen" had.
Then it's just the two moving abroad left, they will stay yet a few weeks.

Now the first puppy has left for his new home. That's Sw. Fahrenheit "Minus" who moved to his big brother Sw. Cold Blue Mountain (Nixo). Nixo wasn't quite happy to start with but after a while he started to protect Minus from all dangers. I'm sure they will be best friends shortly. The litter is now on the Litters-page.

Last weekend Bea and Sw. Xeptionella Stella competed in agility and got the last point for proceeding to class III in jumping class (the highest class) in 35 C heat! Super well done!

Today it's Mixtra and her litter brothers and sister's 7th birthday. Congrats to you all. I have problems remembering to say happy birthday to the different litters. But at least my own dogs have to be congratulated.

Celebrated Mothers Day with my brothers and family at a local
restaurant. Had a faboulous meal. I also got to know that Oscar who's graduating
next week got a scholarship from Alcro. The Golden Paint Brush which is a golden
necklace.
It's so nice for a mum to see your children doing well. Last year Philip got a scholarship, that time it was a money price.

Today I've been to the swedish Polar Dog club's show in Vaggeryd. Cissy showed the dogs (Nixo, Lacey and Dexter) and I was working as a ring steward. Nixo got a first price in working class, Lacey price of honour in junior class. Dexter was competing in veteran and ended up as BOB, and Best in Show.

Last week Lacey's x-ray results came and it couldn't be better. Hips: A and ED clear!
Today the certificate "Working Breeder Certificate" came from the Swedish Kennel Club. Just had to put it on the web site.

Today we finished the polartest B (2x30 km). The dogs in the team where: Sw. Walk On Top, Sw. You Made My Day, Sw. Yemaja and Sw. Cold Blue Mountain. With this test Yemaja finished her swedish championtitle as well. A photo from the finish you'll see on the index-page.

Yesterday was the last day of Nordic championships in sledging.
We ended up last but the dogs went quite well the second day. The finish looked
really good as you can se on this photo.
Today we're resting for tomorrow's start in the B-test (2 x 30 km).

Dog show in Furudal
Today it was championship show for 89 samoyeds in Furudal. I had only Lacey entered in juniorclass. She won the class with championquality and ended up as 4th best bitch and CC!
This was the third bitch CC for me in 4 years time. The fourth year Mixtra was my only entry and she won Best of Breed from the championklass!

Yesterday we spent the whole day on the road from Önnestad to Furudal for the annual Samoyed Week.When we arrived we just unpacked, had a glass of wine and a sandwich, then off to bed.
Today I took a training round on the lake. The dogs worked fine even though they didn't have any hares or deers to chase.
In the afternoon I helped out on the "sledging try out". I also tried a little with Lacey but she wasn't very happy in going alone. She was a bit afraid of the skiis and the sledge so we do have a little to work with.

Today I went for a sledride for approx. 10 km. After the ride we took the small

Last Sunday we went to the puppy show in Malmoe,
Lacey was beaten for the first time.
Of course it was one of Dexter's daughters that did it. Congrats Tinne!
Also Kerstin with Luvan (Sw. Diamonds are forever) did well, placed second with HP i 6-9 months, Lacey
was 4th with HP and Vintra (Sw. Dedicated to Hanna) 5th with HP. Vintra is mine
but lives with Hanna. More information about her will pop up under "Our dogs"
one day. Meanwhile, you'll have to be satisfied with a photo of her "flying" in
the ring.

Today Maja (Sw. Amazing Grace), won her second CAC under judge Arvid Göransson in Sundsvall. Congrats Helena and Peter to the "princess'" success.
Stella has been to ultra sound this week and she is pregnant. So now we're looking forward to pups in the end of the month.

We've been to two shows since last update. First Sofiero where Lacey was Best
puppy and Dexter BOS and also best veteran.

Last weekend it was Samoyed show in Visseltofta. At the show, judged by Erna-Britt Nordin Lacey was Best puppy out of 11 entries. Swedsam's Xeptionella Stella BOB, very untipped. BOS was Snowmist Not Just Anyone (Nzo).

It seems that Yzerman will get a new home very
shortly. I am ever so glad for his sake.
I've had to change stud dog for Stella's coming litter due to that Bosse's eye
examination didn't turn out OK. He might have an injury on one eye but it has to
be examined by a specialist before it can be make surtain. Therefore I will use
another male this time. He will be presented in the Puppies page shortly.

My computer has been away for repair so no updates have been made for some time.
Sw. Yzerman is looking for a new home, due to changes in the family. If you're interested, please contact me for further information.
A lot of things have happened. Most of all, Sw. Xeptionella Stella has done very well in agility, miss one point for upgrade to jump class III and has also got points in agilityclass II.
She has also had her eyes examined for the second time, also now all clear. So now we just wait for her season to start, she'll be mated and hopefully we'll get puppies in Oct-Nov.
Sw. Call of the Wild has also had his eyes examined, for result se C-litter in "Litters & Statistics.

Today and yesterday three more pups moved to
their new homes. Photos on their on

I also got a call from Susanne who was in Borås for the national championship
show there. Sw. Yemaja was best bitch and BOS, she also got her third CC.
So now we really have a reason to start her sleddog training so she can
participate in my sled team the coming winter. That will in that case give me a
team with mother, daugthers and grandson as it's ment to be Mixtra, Kitty and
Nixo in the team.
Today we also went to a garden party at Linnéa's boyfriend's parents' house. They have a fantastic garden with lots of beautiful roses. Just have to put in some photos of them here.

It's been a while since last update, mostly due to my involvement in Nordskånska Kennel club:s national dogshow in Hässleholm with over 3600 entries.
Linnéa showed Dexter and Kitty, they ended up best dog 3rd and best bitch 3rd. Dexter was also BOS veteran. 2nd best bitch was Kitty's sister Sw. Yemaja who won her second CC.
The puppies have of course grown a lot, here are some new photos.

Maggan and Pistage (Polarullens Sosva Ja-Nebla) have been to visit Dexter. Hopefully there will be puppies in beginning of July. Maggan wishes a birthday present on her 60th birthday on 3 July.

Today we went to Swedish Polardog club's show
in Vaggeryd. Anna Törnlöv was judging.
Dexter was second in veteran with champion quality and 5th best male.
Kitty won the working class and was second best bitch with CC. With that she
gained her Swedish champion title!

Now it's only 3 weeks until Mixtra's whelping.
She has quite a round tummy and seems to be warm being indoors. But outside it's
completely different. Full speed ahead!
We went for a two hour walk on Good Friday and she kept pulling the whole walk
through. You can really feel what good shape she's in.
Now we hope for a good litter and that everything works out fine.
It seems to me that people planning to buy their first Samoyed is a lot more
aware of what they are expecting.
All the people that's on my waitinglist will be excellent dog owners, I'm sure!

hurray for the M-litter on their 15th birthday.
Both Ruff (Sw. Making Your Mind Up) and Oliver (Sw. My Sweet Lord) is still
alive.
Their mother Sw. A Whiter Shade of Pale also lived so long. Quite unusual for
the breed,
but a fantasic thing for a breeder that they keep fit for so long!

At last Mixtra has been mated. Now we have some
week's waiting for the first signs of pregnancy. Also people waiting if there
will be a pup for them or not.
Nino (Newsam's Nicolas Cage) has gone home, we miss the nice guy that is so easy
to deal with even though he was in an unknown place. Thank you Ia for letting us
borrow him!

Returned home yesterday after the week in
Furudal. The week turned out a success. Kitty got her second CC and BOS at the
show, her son Sw. Cold Blue Mountain won juniorclass with price of honour.
Dexter won best veteran, best working dog, best champion and second best male.
At the nordic championships in sledging for samoyeds I reached 6th place out of
12 teams finishing the competion at my very first start with sledge. My team was
Sw. Walk On Top. Sw. You Made My Day and Amkida's Lodestar of Freija and
Amkida's Jadis Icequeen of Ulva that I borrowed from Mia at Amkida's.
Tuesday - Wednesday I tried to get the B-test, 2 x 30 km with the same dogs. The
first day my time was 3 h 32 min, second day 3 h 28 min 8 sec, a total of 7h 8
seconds. As the track was 64 km in total this gave us a margain of 1 h 31 min 52
sec.
So now I'm going to chase the third CC with Kitty that will make her a champion
as she now has the workingtest completed.
Thanks a lot to Mia for lending me the dogs and Linda who pushed me to try!

We are also approaching the "Samoyed week" in Furudal, coming up very shortly.
On wendesday morning we'll be off.
The dogs seem to know something's in the air, seeing me preparing all our
equipment and everything else that we'll need for a week in the snow.
Mixtra's season is still not here which is good because sledding in the Nordic
Championships with bitches in heat is not an ultimate thing. But it won't be
long away.

Among others, I have got some from Beatrice who has 3 swedsam'dogs. The young
Stella, Ricky 13 (Sw. No Name Requested) and Ruff, 15 in march (Sw. Making Your
Mind Up). Even Ricky's two sisters Dolly and Nadja are still going strong. Their
13th birthday is next week, on Jan. 6th, when also my own "Dexter" turns 8 and a
veteran in show aspects.

Today, I and Cissy went to the international
show in Växjö, Jesper Andersson was judging.
Kitty got a first price in quality, Mixtra won the champion class and were 3rd
best bitch with reserv-cacib. The breeders group with Mixtra, Tindra, Yemaja and
Scilla won a prize of honour but was not placed in the honour ring.

Swedsam's Amazing Grace (Maja) won her first CC
at the show in Sundsvall. Congrats to owners Helena and Peter.

I myself have been on an education for mushers and got the "green card" that's needed for starting in races from 2009.

Stella /and Bea has been competing in agility again. They have now made progress to agility class II, and have one more first price to go for progressing in jumping class II as well.
Nixo has started puppy class, he is the star of the class. Much of course thanks to Cissy who is very good at training. When she's not training Nixo she shows my dogs. The last show was the Specialty in Visseltofta. Mixtra was 4th best bitch and best working. Kitty also got a special prize, this year the show was unofficial due to different causes.
We have also got som photos from Swedsam-dogs. Among others, from Diesel and Zebbe.

Sw. Born To Boogie (Amigo) has had his hips
x-rayed. For the result, se litters & statistics. I have also forgotten to
update after Nixo's (Sw. Cold Blue Mountain) show debut. He was BOB puppy and
BIG-4 at Tollarp's BK on July 27th.
Oscar also finished his driving license August 7th.

weekend!

Sitting here on a rainy Friday morning. The trip to WDS was really a nice experience. I appreciated the for us swedes "new show system" which we all found so easy to work with. We saw a lot of nice dogs and I wrote almost 400 critics during the four days.
Sw. Xeptionella Stella has had her eyes examined again, also this time it was OK. I have decided to wait with her mating until early next year due to that I haven't made up my mind about sire yet.
Our daughter is on Gotland working at Burs Café over the summer, a really nice place well worth a visit.

I have got a lot of calls about not uppdating
the site for a long time. So finally, now I will. All the puppies have moved to
their new homes, a lot of photos have been sent in the mail. You find some of
them here.
We have started some agility training together with llittle Nixo and his owner
Cissy in our garden. All the dogs just love it, except from when Nixo (who's not
allowed to do more than slalom and the tunnel) bite them in their tails trying
to keep up their speed.
Today I'm off to Stockholm to work as a stewardess at the World Dog Show for four days.

Kitty's puppies were born the night to Monday. There are 5 boys and 3 girls. Both pups and mother are fine!

Today we went to Malmö for the international dogshow. Judging: Blaz Kavzic. Dexter was 3rd best male and Mixtra 4th best bitch (with r-cacib). The breeders group got price of honour. It consisted of Mixtra, Sw. You're My Number One, Sw. Xena the Warrior Princess and Sw. Bright Eyes.
I also learned that Sw. You're My Number One has been examined and her eyes where clear.

Just arrived home from the Samoyed Week in
Furudal. Mixtra was best in show at the show that this year hade a new record in
entries, 100!
Dexter was 4th best male, Mixtra's daughter Sw. Amazing Graze was 5th best bitch.
And I also won the Breeders class out of 6 groups!
Judging was Freddie Klindrup from Denmark. Photos from the show you'll find at SPHK Samojed's homepage.
Both Sw. Amazing Graze and Sw. Xeptionella Stella passed the polar dog test A. For Stella this means that she now has the title PDP.

Willem sent an e-mail from Estonia, he and Baloo have been to an international show where Marija Kavcic were judging. Baloo was 3rd best dog. He has also had his hips x-rayed, for the result see Litters & statistics, A-litter.

Now 3,5 weeks have gone since the mating of
Kitty. She shows obvious signs of pregnancy and now we look forward to a sound
pregnancy.
Meanwhile I, the "kids" and Dexter and Mixtra are going to Furudal for the
annual Samoyed Week. There will be dog show, sledding competion and other
events. On Feb. 22 I and Bea will end the week in the "Vasalopps tracks" last 30
km - Short-Vasan. That will be an interesting event concidering we have had no
snow training at all in the south of Sweden!

Last weekend it was the annual Specialty Show in Visseltofta. Judge: Curt Bökefors.
We showed Mixtra and Kitty with brilliant results. Mixtra was Best of Breed, Kitty second best bitch with CAC and Kittys sister Scilla 3rd best bitch. We also won Breeders class and Mixtra won the Progeny Class.

We have been to a couple of shows. Kitty was shown at Öland and was 5th best bitch. Yesterday we went to Sofiero, Mixtra was 3rd and Kitty 4th best bitch.

It's been a while since last update due to a
lot of courses. Mostly because I fell off my 3 year old horse and injured my
back. After a few days in hospital it is now some weeks of rehabilitation.
However, some light in the darkness, Sw. Xeptionella Stella who was x-rayed last
year during her season has had a new x-ray and this time her hips were cleared.
Lovely!
Mixtra was 2nd best bitch with r-cacib in Ronneby, Kitty was 4th in open class conkurrense. Thanks Tinne, Sofia, Anneli and Mia who all made it possible for my dogs to enter the show.

Last weekend Linnéa, myself and Mixtra went to the double champshow in Tvååker. The first day Mixtra was Best of Opposite sex, her daughter Scilla was then 3rd best bitch. On the next day Mixtra was 3rd best bitch, her other daughter Yemaja was second best bitch with r-cacib. Congrats to all!

Yesterday Mixtra finished her championtitle by getting the CAC, CACIB and BOB in Borås under judge Djordje Tesic from Serbia-Montenegro.
We also congratulate Dexter and Belles offsprings (Tomika, Yoda, Kenzo, Amigo, Legolas and Grizzly) on their first birthday today.

Today Sw. Alert Red (Baloo) made his show debut at the "Winner 2007" in Tallinn.
The qualification was 'exellent' and he was the 3rd male junior of seven samoyeds. The judge was Diogo Ramalho from Portugal and his critics to Baloo were next: typical head, ears well placed, good backline, good angulations, good bone, typical coat, moving well. You'll find a photo from the show on A-litters own photopage.

Friday and Saturday there have been two large dog shows in Hässleholm. On Friday Dexter was 3rd best male, his daughters Scilla and Yemaja both got second prices because of bikini dresses. On Saturday the two girls where shown again, this time Scilla was second best bitch, Yemaja best bitch with CC and BOS. BOB was Discos Prince Joey who gained his championship on the day before.
Congrats to all for your good results. I myself was struggling in front of the computer, registering all the results for the entire shows.
On May 17th Sw. Romulus av Tornado went to a SPHK show where he won BOB Veteran.

Today was Dexter and I at SPHK south district show in Vaggeryd, judge Lars West. Dexter was best of breed and BIS-3. Congrats also to Christina & Håkan with Kannibalens Karloff of Illusion who took his second CC and to Katarina with Amkida's Gilded Rainbow of Venus who won her first CC and also Best opposite sex. Sw. Romulus of Tornado was best veteran.

Today we have been to the international show in Malmö under judge Peter Machetanz from Germany. Dexter won best male with cacib and BOS, Mixtra was 3rd best bitch with CAC, her daughter Kitty was 4th in best bitch.
On February the 2, Mixtra won the breed specialty in Furudal with CAC and Dexter was best male and BOS.
Mixtra also gained her first sledding title, PDP, in the competition in Furudal 3-4 Febr.
Kitty has had her hips and eyes examined, both were cleared.

Swedsam's You Made My Day have moved back home because of the owner's illness. She has fitted in very well and is a very sweet and kind character. Photos of her will come soon.
Swedsam's Born To Boogie has changed home and is now living with a Giant Schnauzer and a German Shepherd in Mariestad.

Today our oldest horse Miss Ronja went to the ever green fields in heaven after a long time of problems with her leg which made her stiffer and stiffer all the time. May she rest in peace!
